WRITING BOOT CAMP |
Boot Camp enables you to devote an entire day during spring break exclusively to writing. The Howe Writing Center will provide a quiet place, power for your computer, and breaks and lunch for you. Boot Camp is a great way to launch your research/creative projects.
Who may participate?
To participate, you must be an untenured member of faculty who is willing to commit to spending an entire day at Camp.
When is Boot Camp?
Friday, March 12
What is the daily schedule?
| 7:00 am | Doors open for early risers who want to get started |
| 8:00 am | Breakfast |
| 8:30 am | Sit down to work. Seriously. We'll lock the door at 8:30 am |
| 10:15 am | Break |
| 10:30 am | In chairs, working |
| 12:00 pm | Lunch |
| 1:00 pm | In chairs, working |
| 2:30 pm | Break |
| 2:45 pm | In chairs, working |
| 4:00 pm | Boot Camp officially ends, but you can continue working until 5:00 pm |

Will we share our writing?
Only if you want to. And only during breaks. This is not a writing workshop.
