Student Ambassadors

The Women's Center Ambassador Program, launched in 2004, offers an opportunity for Miami students to further the mission of the Women's Center. In addition to helping to staff the Women's Center, Ambassadors provide outreach and education about the Women's Center and women's and gender issues.

To schedule a presentation for your group or to find out more about the Ambassador Program, contact the Ambassador's phone line at 529-1535 or stop by the Women's Center (206 MacMillan) and speak with one of our Ambassadors in person.

Each spring semester the Women's Center accepts applications for the Women's Center Ambassador Program. The process involves an application process (including reference) and interview. The application deadline is typically around the first of April. Contact Jane Goettsch if you have questions.

"The Women's Center has been instrumental in forming my identity in my later years at Miami University.  I have learned how to better set SMART goals, prioritize, and become a leader both in and outside of the classroom.  Without the Women's Center, I would not have been able to reach my maximum potential for success." (Tommy)
