The 2008 Women of Color Celebration and Luncheon will be held on Wednesday, March 5, from 11a.m - 1p.m. in the Shriver Center Multipurpose Rooms on the Miami-Oxford campus. Maria was born in Havana, Cuba, immigrated to the United States with her family when she was four-years-old, and speaks both Spanish and English. In her 13 years with Pope & Associates, Inc., she has worked with the organization since 1990, and is one of the organization’s most senior and experienced members.
