Chris was born in NYC in 1952 and grew up in and around
Baltimore. His 1970 draft lottery number was 181, and
thus he was ineligible for a free, all-expenses paid
trip to Southeast Asia. He enlisted in U.S. Navy in
1975 and retired in 1996. In 2003 he finally made it
to Saigon. He expects to his receive bachelor's degree,
with a journalism major, in 2003 -- shortly before birth
of his fifth grandchild.
