A. Yes, all employees in the unclassified category may participate in all UPAC activities.

A. The daycare center is called the Mini University and is located on the Western campus. Please contact the center at 529-8383 or visit their web site at www.childcare.muohio.edu

Q. Is parking free on campus?
A. At this time, parking is free for employees. You must pick up a parking tag from the Parking and Transportation Services Office in room 15 of the Campus Avenue Building.

Q. How can I find out more information about the interest-free computer loans for personal use?

Q. As a staff member, can I get home internet access through the university?
A. If you can call any of the university campuses from home without it being long distance, you may be able to have internet access from home at no per-month cost. You’ll need a software disk, MU Net, available for a small charge at the university bookstore. Contact the Information Technology Services Support Desk at 529-7900.

Q. Can I make personal long distance calls from an office phone and have the charges payroll deducted?
A. Staff members can contact the Telecommunications Office at 529-3511 for a calling code. This will allow you to make personal calls from any office phone and have the charges deducted from your paycheck.

Q. Can I get a personal cell phone through the university?
A. The Telecommunications Office has a variety of cell phones and plans available to staff members. Monthly charges are payroll deducted. Call 529-3511 for more information.
