Projects
The Project Office provides tools, processes and expertise for portfolio, project, and resource management as well as the definition and deployment of a project methodology.
The IT portfolio is comprised of the Queue (requests for project work) and the Operational Plan (all active and approved IT work) segmented by University division. The Project Office coordinates IT and client processes for managing and monitoring the portfolio.
Project management methodology is adopted from university and industry standards and best practices and tailored to the specific needs of Miami. Resource management tools and training are provided to align IT resource and project management for optimal client support and product delivery.
