Due to an issue with a SQL server upgrade on the morning of May 15, Support Desk tickets that were created between 10:00 pm on May 14 and 8:30 am on May 15 were lost from the ticketing system.

In a few days, IT Services will be sending out its annual Tech Qual survey, which regards the quality and effectiveness of the technology services at Miami University. This short survey will be sent to a small number of randomly selected individuals. IT Services encourages individuals who receive the survey to respond

This week (April 22 - 24) maintenance to the Miami telephone system will occur each morning between 12:00 am and 6:00 am.

This is a reminder that beginning on April 15, 2013 all data in your old Microsoft Exchange account will be permanently inaccessible. This will affect any data in mail, contacts and calendar. Faculty and staff should check to see if there is any data in Exchange that was not migrated to their Google Apps accounts.

Several Miami students and staff members have reported receiving an email that appears to be from Miami and asks recipients to update their personal information. Please be aware that this message is a hoax and a phishing scam.

Next week (March 11 - 15) maintenance to the Miami telephone system will occur each morning between 5:00 and 7:00 am.  The upgrade will cause periodic disruption in VoIP phone services, beginning with an outage to university call centers between 5:00 and 7:00 am on March 11 and March 12.  All incoming calls to call centers will go to voicemail, which is normal for this timeframe.

On Monday, March 11th, IT Services will convert most major pieces of our Single Sign On infrastructure to use the new domain, MiamiOH.edu, by default.

All files in @muohio.edu Google Apps accounts will be permanently inaccessible as of March 11, 2013. Students must move any data they wish to save from their @muohio.edu to their new MiamiOH.edu account. All services within the @muohio.edu domain will be shut off on that date, and that data will be lost.
