Niihka will experience a service outage on Sunday, December 23 from 12:00 am through 2:00 am.  The outage is required to install a number of minor updates and make adjustments to Niihka’s settings.  Please be sure to log off Niihka prior to Sunday at 12:00 am, as any unsaved changes will be lost without warning.

On Wednesday, December 19 between 5:00 and 7:00 pm, IT Services will be upgrading Miami’s Internet connection link.  Although no disruption to network services on-campus is expected, there is a chance that there could be a disruption in VPN (Virtual Private Network) service from off-campus during the upgrade.

Miami is partnering with Google to provide faculty and staff Google Apps for Education, including Gmail to manage email accounts, Google Calendar and Contacts, plus a range of other Google tools.

Maintenance to the Miami voicemail system is scheduled for this weekend, beginning at 8:00 pm on Saturday, December 8, and continuing until 8:00 am on December 9.  This outage only affects Voicemail Only (VMO) users (accounts that do not also create an email).
