On Monday, December 16 at 10:00 am (exact time is tentative), Miami’s campus television service will be receiving an update from the vendor that will require all connected televisions to have the autoscan function run.

IT Services has just released a new module on the “Student” tab in myMiami that allows students to view their grades. My Grades makes it easier for students to access their grades without having to go to BannerWeb.
There will be an outage of the MyCard service between 12:01 and 9:00 am on Wednesday, November 27. During the outage there will be no access to the MyCard service or the Housing, Dining, Recreation & Business Services public web pages.
IT Services has completed the upgrade to several modules within Banner and BannerWeb. The services have been successfully tested and approved by various University offices, and are up and running again.
Banner and BannerWeb will be unavailable from 5:00 pm on Friday, November 15, until midday Sunday, November 17. During this time, IT Services will upgrade several Banner and BannerWeb modules to the most recent version.
Miami faculty, staff and students should think twice before opening any email links or attachments – including voice mails – unless they are sure who sent the message and that it is legitimate. A new malware called CryptoLocker is spreading around the Internet and, while we have not had any confirmed infections at Miami, activity that looks very similar has been seen on the Miami network.
25Live is Miami’s new web-based scheduling and event-publishing system. The 25Live scheduling system has been in place since August, but earlier this week the 25Live event publishing system (the new online calendar) at MiamiOH.edu/events also went live.
The new calendar is now also integrated into myMiami and can be found on both the Home and News and Events tabs.
Niihka will experience a one-hour service outage on Sunday, November 17 between 12:00 and 1:00 am. The outage is required to implement automated deployment processes on the Niihka servers. Please be sure to log off Niihka prior to midnight on Saturday night, as any unsaved changes will be lost without warning.
