Directory updates scheduled for Friday evening

IT Services will be be updating all entries in Miami’s Web Directory and related services (OpenLDAP, Active Directory and Exchange) on Friday, Jan. 11 at 10:00 pm. This update will change all preferred email addresses to @MiamiOH.edu. There is no outage expected with this update.

Missing messages to be re-migrated beginning this evening

To address the issue of quite a few messages dated prior to July 2010 not being migrated from Exchange to Google, IT Services will begin to migrate those messages again this evening at 5:00 pm.

Database update tonight will affect several Miami websites

On Thursday, January 3 beginning at 12:00 am, IT Services will be performing an emergency reboot of a database server to help correct performance issues.

Student email changing on Dec. 31

On Monday, Dec. 31, IT Services will transition student Google email users to a new Google domain for their email and calendar services. This change is due to the University’s decision to change its domain name from muohio.edu to MiamiOH.edu.
