Supplying all of your copying and printing needs with the most current digital technology, the Print Center puts customer service first. With a majority of the most popular software
applications, our trained and knowledgeable Print Center staff can help you produce a finished product that meets your expectations.
Walk-in Printing and Copying
Located in the customer service area of the Print Center, black & white and color machines are available for small volume digital output. Additionally, there are two Mac and two Windows PC’s to assist in preparing and sending your files to print. This service is ideal for resumes, reports, and final projects.
High-Volume Printing and Copying
The Print Center is equipped to handle high-volume black and white and color digital output including a full finishing department from cutting and folding to perforating and binding. The Print Center staff prides itself on excellence and efficiency, with a typical 2-3 day turn around on most projects.
Faculty, staff, and departments can print their digital files directly from any application to
Miami U-Print, the Print Center’s solution to order processing online. Miami U-Print is all about customer convenience and ease-of-use and is as easy as printing to your local
Relationships with local contract printers allow the Print Center to meet your needs
for traditional offset printing as well. For projects that may exceed our in-house capabilities, a media consultant can assist in guiding your job from pricing to completion.
CD & DVD Duplication
CD and DVD duplication is available through the Print Center. Hard copy may be scanned to create Acrobat PDF files or a master disk may be supplied. In all cases, copyright laws are observed and assistance is available to obtain the proper duplication rights. Additionally, we can print your label directly onto the CD or DVD, eliminating the need for stick-on labeling. Templates are available to create your own art, or ask us how we can help.
Copying for Classroom Instruction
In order to assist faculty in the development of course content materials, IT Communications extends, at no charge, up to $20.00 in copying per faculty member
per semester, and up to $15.00 per graduate teaching assistant per semester.
Restrictions and provisions of the copyright law are strictly observed.
Instructional manuals can be produced within the Print Center and made available to students via the Miami University Bookstore in Shriver Center. Originals may be paper copy, from books and magazines, or electronic files. Regardless of the source, restrictions and provisions of the copyright law are strictly observed and our staff can assist in obtaining copyright clearance when needed.
