Handheld Devices
Mobile devices, such as BlackBerrys, iPhones and iPod Touches, are supported at Miami for use with e-mail and calendaring (muConnect). Research is being done to determine how they can enhance student and faculty experience inside and outside the classroom. Emergency text messaging and virtual classroom clickers are examples of how Miami has leveraged these devices.
