Group Collaboration
The “My Organizations” module within myMiami allows any faculty, staff or student to create community web sites to post announcements, send e-mail, share files, and collaborate in a variety of ways. Over 700 organization sites have already been created for student organizations, university departments, formal and informal university and student workgroups, etc. Membership can be restricted by owner(s) or it can be set up so that interested parties can join openly.
To add a group collaboration site, click request an Organization site in the My Organizations module and follow the directions.
