The 2008 US News and World Report ranked Miami’s Speech Pathology and Audiology program as 53rd out of 300 nationwide and 7th in the country among universities offering only Master’s degrees in their listing of best graduate schools in Speech-Language Pathology.

Miami's Speech Language Pathology program has also been annually accredited by ASHA since 1983.

Our students are also recognized for their success through Scholarships provided by various professional organizations. The Ohio Speech-Language-Hearing Association (OSLHA) has awarded two 1st place prizes and one 2nd place prize to Miami students in the last 4 years.

Graduate Students in Speech-Language Pathology nationwide are required to take the Praxis exam to qualify for the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). The following tables display the pass rates of graduate students in Miami’s program.
