Incoming Freshmen

To help simplify your admission process, Miami University does not require a separate application for our general freshmen scholarships. All students who apply for admission by January 31 and who are admitted are considered for all of our general scholarships. Students who wish to apply for the Harrison Scholarship must apply for admission and also submit the Harrison Scholarship application by November 1. The University Honors Program does require a separate application, see below.

Current Miami Students

To be considered for the Returning Student Scholarships, students need to complete a Returning Student Scholarship Application. The Returning Student Scholarship Application is available in November and the deadline to submit the application is March 15. Applications may be obtained online or from the Office of Student Financial Assistance.

Admission to Honors

Incoming freshmen interested in the Honors program must apply for admission and submit a separate Honors and Scholars application. Current Miami students who wish to apply for admission to the Honors program should check with the Honors Program Office at 513-529-2161.

Scholar Leader Scholarships

If you are interested in applying for a Scholar Leader Scholarship, applications are available in the Office of Student Affairs, and must be submitted by December 8, 2007 (for the 2008-09 academic year). Final selections will be completed by mid-February. For more information on the Scholar Leader Program, contact the Office of Student Affairs, at 513-529-3435, or visit the Scholar Leader website.
