What scholarships does Miami offer?

Scholarships range from $1000 up to full tuition, fees, room and board. Many are multiple-year scholarships that may be renewed with a 3.0 cumulative grade point average. Some scholarships consider financial need as a secondary factor. For these scholarships, your financial need may influence both your ability to receive a scholarship and the amount of the award. We determine whether or not a student has financial need based on the results of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). To be considered for all need-based scholarships, first-year applicants must complete the FAFSA application between January 1 and February 15.

Miami has special recognition scholarships also which include scholarships for National Merit finalists, National Hispanic Recognition finalists and semi-finalists, National Achievement finalists and semi-finalists, Honors and Oxford Scholars students. Please visit the financial aid website for additional information on these special scholarships.
