How will I receive my funds if I am not on campus?

Your financial aid will be credited to your student account ten days before classes start each semester, if you have completed the required paperwork. Any charges you may have incurred on your student account will be deducted from your financial aid. If your financial aid exceeds your charges, the Bursar will send a refund check to your local mail address. If you completed the appropriate paperwork provided at the Office of the Bursar, your refund will be directly deposited into either your checking or savings account.

If you have completed a consortium agreement, your funds will be sent to the host institution. If you are expecting a refund, contact the host institution regarding its refunding policy.

If your primary campus is Miami University Hamilton or Miami University Middletown, your financial aid will disburse for fall semester (term 200810) no earlier than September 11, 2007 and for spring semester (term 200820) no earlier than February 5, 2008.
