Some of the employing areas in the chart above that hire the largest number of students are:

Dining Halls
Probably the largest employer of students on campus; employs 1,500-1,600 students per year.

Rinella Learning Center
Hires 250 student tutors each year and 15 clerical assistants. Tutors work 6 to 10 hours a week, clerical assistants 10 hours a week.

Library
Hires 200 to 250 students a year. A job application, obtained by clicking Libraries above, is required. The library usually has more applicants than available positions. Preference in hiring is given to students eligible for Federal Work-Study and to students previously employed there.

Physical Facilities
Hires approximately 50 students for many different types of work.

Recreational Sports
Hires approximately 500 students a year in various positions including:

- aquatics, lifeguards (required first aid & lifeguarding);
- facility supervisors (standard First-Aid certification required);
- intramural officials (participation in training and rule clinics required);
- outdoor recreation coordinators (ability to organize trips and take responsibility for equipment rental);
- fitness, group fitness instructors, health fitness instructors, personal trainers, (training provided)

Shriver Center
Hires 300 to 350 students per year.

Residence Life
Hires approximately 220 students in various positions including: resident assistants, and office workers.
