How has Ohio's nursing home utilization changed between 1993 and 2003?

Although the number of Ohio residents age 60+ with severe disability increased from 154,300 in 1993 to 172,279 in 2003 (an 11.7% increase), the number of nursing facility beds, the average daily census, and the occupancy rates in Ohio nursing facilities have all decreased (See Figure 1 and Table 1 below).
