Which Ohio counties had the highest proportion of their population age 60+ in 2000?
The top five counties with the highest percentage of population over the age of 60 are: Jefferson, 23.9%; Belmont, 23.0%; Harrison, 22.7%; Mahoning, 22.1%; and Monroe, 22.0%. The state as a whole has a 17.3% population age 60+.
