What are some of the demographic characteristics of Ohio's PASSPORT participants?

 

PASSPORT consumers are most likely to be older Caucasian women who are not married (see table below). Four out of five participants are women (79.8%), three out of four are white (76.6%), and four out of five are unmarried (80.7%).

Recent trends suggest a slight increase in PASSPORT consumers in the youngest age groups. In June 2004, 27% of participants were between the ages of 60 and 69, compared to 23% in 1994 and in 1999.
