Jiayin (Jaylene) Liang
|
Jiayin (Jaylene) Liang has a B.A. in Philosophy (with a minor in business administration) and an M.A. in Western Philosophy from Beijing Normal University in China. Jaylene’s general research interests include cross-cultural aging studies, theoretical foundations of gerontology and qualitative research methods. The specific areas in which she is currently working include: the study of post-retirement life among the 1950s birth cohort of urban China, the role of cultural values played in long-term care decisions and homecare development in China, as well as the concept of “third age” and leisure in later life from a comparative perspective.
