CHANGE Living-Learning Community

In Fall 2007, Miami University launched CHANGE, a new living and learning community for emerging community leaders focused on civic leadership and service-learning:

Do you strive to “be the change” you wish to see in the world?  The CHANGE program is for emerging community leaders who are dedicated to making the world a better place.  Live and learn among a group of committed peers interested in finding their voices, building community, and taking positive action on Miami’s campus and beyond.

The more than two hundred first year students who live in the residence hall will have the opportunity to take courses studying public leadership, participating in service-learning activities, and helping to create campus leadership projects.  The residence hall will also sponsor a CHANGE community kickoff event, a community leadership week, and ongoing speakers and programs aimed at creating a culture of service and civic engagement.
