On-Campus Advertising
There are several options for students when considering on-campus advertising for your event or organization.
Table Tents
Requests to place table tents in dining halls are accepted by the Office of Student Activities & Leadership four (4) weeks in advance. Table tents can be reserved only for registered student organizations or University departments. They are to be used to advertise an event being held on campus which is open to all students.
- Tables Tents must not exceed 4x6 inches after being folded.
- The original table tent must be brought to the Office of Student Activities & Leadership (356 SHC) for approval before copies are run.
- The name of the requesting student organization or department must be on the table tent.
- The requesting organization is responsible for distributing the tents on dining hall tables. They are distributed on Monday by the requesting organization and removed on the following Sunday by the dining hall staff.

During the last week of classes during each semester, table tents may be reserved for the first four weeks of the next semester.

Reserving Showcases in Shriver
Showcases are reserved on a first-come first-served basis by registered student organizations or university departments. Showcases may not be reserved for consecutive weeks and only one per week per group may be reserved. Any advertised event must be open to all students on campus and showcases cannot be used for political purposes.
Reservations are scheduled 4 weeks in advance. They go “up” on a Monday until the following Monday. During the last full week of classes of each semester, showcases can be reserved for the first 4 weeks of the following semester.
- Each group is responsible for “putting up” and “taking down” of display.
- Showcases may be decorated Monday-Friday between the hours of 8a.m.-4p.m.
- Any items left in the showcase will be kept in our office for one week, then discarded.
- The key to open the showcases are in 356 Shriver. (an ID is needed)
- Staples are not to be used in the showcases. Tacks or tape only!
Showcases available for use include:
- 2 - on the main floor by copy machine, (33x47)
- 4 - on the first floor by the ATM’s (24x36)
- 1 - in the food court area (24x36)
- 2 - in the stairwell (24x36)
- 2 - located across from the TV room on the first floor (23x34)
