  Women leaders often adopt a distinct leadership style. While highly effective, they may encounter a variety of challenges in their leadership role. This workshop will address the skills women leaders bring to the table and how to capitalize upon them.

  A method of approaching a potentially conflictive situation is to avoid conflict. While often referred to as an intervention it is used to head off a crisis through respectful confrontation. This method can be utilized both in dealing with individuals or in an organizational setting. An intervention can be a meeting between a supervisor and an employee or an orchestrated gathering of concerned co-workers or friends.

• Alcohol and Alternative Spring Breaks
  Other ways in which student can spend their spring breaks sponsored by organizations both on and off campus. Student can engage in anything from outdoor activity trips such as mountaineering in Ecuador to service trips including building houses in the southwest U.S. with Habitat for Humanity.
• Community Service Projects
  Learn ways to get involved in the community around you by providing service. This includes mentoring children at local school districts, building houses in areas of Cincinnati , or volunteering your time at a hospital.
