Oxford, OH
Nestled among the trees in the rolling hills of southwestern Ohio, Oxford is a small town with a year-round population of about 8,500. Oxford is five miles east of the Ohio-Indiana state line, 35 miles north of Cincinnati and 46 miles southwest of Dayton.
Like its English counterpart, the bricks of High Street convey you through the center of the historical uptown shopping district in Oxford. Most of the towns specialty shops, restaurants, and the local movie theatre are found in the uptown area. In addition, there are two other shopping areas on the west side of town containing grocery stores, hairstylists, music/video stores, discount and department stores, restaurants, dry cleaners, and other service and specialty shops.
Oxford is approximately a 30 minute drive from the outskirts of Cincinnati, Ohio. Attractions of Cincinnati include the Ohio riverfront, professional sports teams, retail centers, museums, parks, a symphony, ballet, opera, and the thriving historic districts of Mount Adams and Over-the-Rhine. Dayton, Ohio is located approximately one hour from Oxford. Dayton offers many of the same opportunities as Cincinnati, as well as the Wright Patterson Air Force Base National Air Museum.
