Academic Advising

One of the most unique, challenging and fulfilling aspects of the First Year Adviser, Assistant First Year Adviser, Graduate Assistant for Living Learning Communities and Academic Advising and Commuter Center Graduate Assistant positions is serving as the academic adviser for first year students at Miami University.

Our staff receive extensive training from academic personnel in all five academic divisions on campus and from many other academic advising staff.
