Office of Off-Campus Affairs

123 Kreger Hall
(513) 529-2268

Welcome

The Office of Off-Campus Affairs was created in partnership with the City of Oxford to enhance academic success by educating students for personal and social responsibility in off-campus life.

We are committed to helping students understand the local laws and the expectations of the greater Oxford community. Many concerns in Oxford revolve around quality of life issues (noise, trash & litter, parties/alcohol use, parking, vandalism) which affect the entire community and more specifically impact neighborhood living.

The original Mile Square, created by the intersections of Chestnut, Locust, Sycamore, and Patterson, has always been the heart of activity for local residents and is now also the home for many student residents. It is the responsibility of all Mile Square residents to maintain a clean and welcoming atmosphere for others who come to shop, worship, do routine business, dine, enjoy the Uptown Park, or visit in this area. Miami University and the City of Oxford hope you will make yourself at home here. Better yet, make yourself feel like Oxford is your home. We trust you to treat it with respect and be considerate of all the others who also call Oxford home.
