What is it?
The LeaderShape
Institute, the flag-ship program of LeaderShape, Inc., is
an intensive, energizing and unique six-day educational experience
designed to develop young adults to lead with integrity. Each
session is comprised of approximately 60
men and women sponsored by various organizations from diverse
ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds.
Wherever you are, there's need for YOU to lead. Miami's session of LeaderShape is six days of non-stop self-discovery and leraning from practical experiences that build your leadership concepts and abilities.
You'll see
that leadership is a process - one that we define as making
a commitment to a vision, developing relationships to bring
the vision into reality and sustaining a high level of integrity.
Effective leadership produces results - exceptional improvement
not only in companies and organizations, but also in clubs
and communities.
The History
Since 1986, over 31,000 participants across America have participated in the LeaderShape Institute at its home site at the Allerton Retreat Center in Illinois or on select campuses throughout the nation. For more information about the LeaderShape Institute curriculum, go to the national website.
One of the most important outcomes of LeaderShape is that all participants will work to establish visions of the changes they seek to achieve through their leadership. Click here to view the 2009 Redhawks' Vision Grid -- a compilation of all the 2009 Miami University student visions.
