Motivation
Lacking motivation usually centers on lacking interest in a subject or activity, feeling overwhelmed by your schedule or assignments, or not having a great deal invested in the outcome of a project. To get yourself motivated:
Break up assignments into parts.
Establish goals. Set clear starting and stopping times.
Work in an environment with few distractions. (Avoid studying in your room)
Ask friends, roommates, and family to hold you accountable for completing a task.
The described strategies for time management must be customized for each students life style, course load, and personal responsibilities. To become a truly successful student at Miami University, dedicate time and energy into developing a system for time management and use it regularly so that it becomes a habit.
