Motivation
Lacking motivation usually centers on lacking interest in a subject or activity, feeling overwhelmed by your schedule or assignments, or not having a great deal invested in the outcome of a project. To get yourself motivated:
· Break up assignments into parts. · Establish goals. · Set clear starting and stopping times. · Work in an environment with few distractions. (Avoid studying in your room) · Ask friends, roommates, and family to hold you accountable for completing a task.
The described strategies for time management must be customized for each student’s life style, course load, and personal responsibilities. To become a truly successful student at Miami University, dedicate time and energy into developing a system for time management and use it regularly so that it becomes a habit.
