The Coalition for a Healthy Community-Oxford

The Office of Health Education serves to enhace the community by providing educational resources and services that promote the health and wellness of Miami students. The office coordinates programming initatives, provides information, raises awareness, and influences policies.The staff includes health education professionals and peer educators who can assist students on a wide variety of health related topics and strive to provide information and knowledge that will result in a healthy choices.

Peer Educators staff our educational resource room which contains brochures, videos, and educational reference materials on a variety of health topics and Peer Educators are available as a programming and information resource.

The Office of Health Education is located in 100 Health Services Center (421 S. Campus Avenue). This location is the same facility that houses the Student Health Services and Student Counseling Services.

Office of Health Education Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Peer Health Education Hours: Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.
