LGBT Advisory Group
This committee began in January 2003 as a group of concerned campus citizens including faculty, staff, and students. Later, the group became a sub-committee of the All University Campus Climate Committee (The LGBT Concerns Committee). The LGBT Concerns Committee coordinated efforts to bring domestic partner benefits to campus in June of 2004. Members proposed a Thematic Sequence in Genders and Sexualities Studies, which is currently tabled in the Liberal Education Council. The committee advises the Associate Vice President for Institutional Diversity, in the Office of the President.
