Biography
Dr. Barbara Jones joins the Miami University administration after serving 8 years as the Assistant Chancellor for Student Affairs at University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She has also served as a Students Affairs leader at Ball State University, and Minnesota State University-Mankato. Dr. Jones also spent time in Student Affairs at the University of Memphis and Indiana University. Dr. Jones obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in Educational Administration and received Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from Indiana University. Dr. Jones has consulted and presented widely on issues most relevant to Student Affairs. She is a respected leader in the field, and is past president of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators.
