The America Reads Challenge is a grassroots national campaign that challenges every American to help children learn to read. America Reads at Miami University has developed partnerships with several area schools and local agencies in an effort to provide one-on-one support and assistance for children in grades K – 6 in the areas of reading, writing, spelling, and vocabulary.

Through their work in our local community, America Reads tutors develop a meaningful and positive relationship with their tutees and demonstrate a solid commitment to the improvement of their literacy abilities. Our office is proud to offer students an opportunity to help elementary school students become better readers through America Reads.
