Individual Greek Awards Packet
The Cliff Alexander Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life and Leadership would like to see how our fraternal organizations have done with the Principles that they felt were the most important to our Greek community, so we have designed a Chapter Inventory and Awards Process to honor and acknowledge those chapters that have excelled within the 5 Principles: Scholarship & Learning, Service & Philanthropy, Community, Leadership, and Brotherhood & Sisterhood.
This year we are making the entire awards process electronic, so there will be no need for you to print anything or put together a binder to turn in your Chapter Inventory or Awards.
Each chapter will be required to turn in the 2008 Chapter Inventory Spreadsheet (there are multiple pages to this document, please look across the bottom tabs of the spreadsheet to make sure you fill out all of them) and email the inventory when completed. These spreadsheets will ask for documentation on Community Service Hours, Philanthropic Monies raised, Educational Programming, and Campus Organization involvement in your chapter.
To be considered for any and all Greek Awards, you will be asked to fill out questions relating to each of the 5 Principles. Some of the questions asked will require simple yes or no answers. Other questions will ask for you to describe or explain your answer in 250 words or less. Once you have finished the Greek Awards Packet, please send the completed document to Megan Gonzalez at Gonzalme@muohio.edu. Also, please print off the Greek Awards Verification Statement and return it to 356 Shriver before January 29th or your application will not be accepted.
Attached you will also find an application for Individual Greek Awards, please submit names and information of individuals you believe reflect key aspects of the Greek community. Please refer to the Individual Greek Awards Packet for information on how to submit members from your chapter.
