Domestic Adventure Trips
The Outdoor Pursuit Center Trip Program offers unique opportunities to the Miami University students, faculty, staff and surrounding community. Our trips are designed to provide a balance of challenging, educational, and fun activities in a wilderness setting.
We offer an array of programming opportunities that vary by sport, activity level, length, and location, but are all beginner oriented.

Feel the adrenaline rush through your veins as you paddle into the roaring white water of the New River. The New River Gorge attracts visitors for its abundance of scenic wonders. We will spend a full day paddling inflatable kayaks down the Upper New River followed by an overnight rafting trip on the Lower New River. Get ready to dig in! |

Enjoy the warmth of Texas this Spring Break. Go boulder at one of the premier climbing sites in the world, Hueco Tanks. Just east of El Paso, Texas, Hueco Tanks is well known for its unique rock formations and prehistoric pictographs, both of which you’ll get to experience firsthand while hiking and rock climbing. |

Come ski with us on Red Mountain Pass and enjoy the culture of southwestern Colorado. This area is nicknamed “the Switzerland of America” for its magnificent mountains and breathtaking views. Red Mountain Pass offers some of the finest backcountry ski terrain Colorado has to offer. We will heed the call of the slopes just outside the comfort and warmth of our backcountry cabin. |
