Directions to Oxford:

U.S. Route 27 and Rt. 73 are the main highways into Oxford.

From the Northeast: From Columbus, Dayton, and points northeast: Take I-70W from Columbus, thru Dayton, exit at U.S. Route 127 South (Eaton, Ohio exit). Go south twenty-something miles, through the towns of Eaton, Camden. Turn right or west on State Route 73. There is a sign at that corner, directing you to "Miami Univerisity" and "Oxford". The Miami University John W.Brown Stables is on the north side of Rt. 73, just on the eastern edge of campus. You will come to the stable before you get to campus. Look for creme-colored wooden fences, and creme barns with red and brown trim. (Note: You will pass a large farm with white vinyl fence shortly before you get here - everyone thinks that's the place, but it's not!).

From the Northwest: From Indianapolis, Chicago, and points west: Take I-70E from Indianapolis; travel about an hour to the Richmond, Indiana exit - U.S. Route 27 south. Follow US27 through Richmond, Liberty, and College Corner Indiana, and eventually it becomes the main street (High Street) of Oxford. To get to the stables, follow US27 through town and campus, then turn east or left on Rt. 73. The Miami University John W.Brown Stables is on the north side of Rt. 73, just on the eastern edge of campus. Look for creme-colored wooden fences, and creme barns with red and brown trim.

From the South: From Cincinnati: Take I-275 around the city to U.S. Route 27 North (Colerain Avenue exit). If I-275 were the face of a clock, Colerain Avenue would be located about 10 o'clock. Go about 20 miles north, through Millville, McGonigle, and eventually into Oxford. To get to the stables, follow US27N through campus, then turn east or right on Rt. 73. The Miami University John W.Brown Stables is on the north side of Rt. 73, just on the eastern edge of campus. Look for creme-colored wooden fences, and creme barns with red and brown trim.

From the Southeast: From Hamilton, Mason, WestChester etc: Take I-75 to US129 (Michael Fox Highway) west into Hamilton. Go straight west on Rt.129 and it will change to Main Street, then High Street, then Rt 177 as it goes through downtown Hamilton. Rt. 177 goes northwest out of Hamilton; follow that about seven miles to US 73. Turn left or west on US 73, and go about 3 miles to Oxford. The Miami University John W.Brown Stables is on the north side of Rt. 73, just on the eastern edge of campus. You will come to the stable before you get to campus.
