| The Outdoor Pursuit Center (OPC) is committed to providing
enjoyable, challenging and affordable experiences that allow individuals
and groups to learn the skills necessary to safely enjoy the outdoors.
We hope that through these experiences, participants will develop an
appreciation and attitudes which may help them feel more connected to
each other and the natural environment. These unique opportunities are provided through workshops, skill clinics, domestic and international adventure trips, high and low ropes course programs, group initiatives, gear rental shop, retail and information center, and the indoor climbing center. |

The Outdoor Pursuit Center has been awarded the David J. Webb Program Excellence Award in 2004. This award honors an outstanding non-profit outdoor program which has provided dynamic and innovative services to its participants, demonstrated professionalism and high standards of conduct, and contributed to the outdoor community at large by sharing information and assisting other programs.
