Red Hawk Dive Camp 2008
*Elite Camp (will be held the same week as the Developmental Camp) (State Qualifying or Junior Olympic Divers ages 9 & Older) *June 22-26 Developmental Camp (Beginning & intermediate divers ages 9 & Older) The Miami RedHawk Dive Camp is designed to provide high-quality instruction for all levels of development. Teaching will focus on fundamental dive skills such as board work, somersaulting/twisting technique, and entry work. Additional coaching will include take-off techniques, video tape analysis, as well as strategies for competition. The RedHawk Dive Camp caters to all levels of diving, from the beginning diver to the advanced competitor, ages 10 and up. Campers may choose to camp overnight in a university residence hall or commute each day. Campers will also have the opportunity to participate in supervised activities. Past activities have included climbing the 40 foot climbing wall, ice skating, horseback riding and team leadership games.
