Our Mission
The Department of Purchasing
and Central Services is committed to providing the highest quality
of service to our customers. We provide efficient and economical
acquisition of quality goods and services in support of Miami
University's overall superior educational mission. Our office
is responsible for procurement of all goods and services in a
fair, competitive, and equitable basis in accordance with the
laws of the State of Ohio, University purchasing policies and
best business practices. We offer education, guidance and information
to support the university and department needs. The Department
of Purchasing and Central Services will continue to strive to
enhance customer service, procedures and processes for the University
community and our external customers.
Who, What and Where
The Department of Purchasing and Central Services consists of Purchasing, Maintenance Purchasing and Central Stores,
Campus Mail Services and the Office Supply Room. Purchasing is located in Bonham House on the first floor at 351 E. Spring
Street. Maintenance Purchasing and Central Stores is located in Cole Service Building at 101 S. Fisher Drive. University
Mail and Office Services are both located in Wells Hall on Spring Street. Click on any office in the list below and you
