Our goal is to provide an environment in which students thrive intellectually. The clinical program provides opportunities for training and experience in research, teaching, and practice within a pluralistic model. We strive for balance between enough structure to gauge student progress and provide grounding in the breadth of psychology and enough freedom for students to design a program optimal to their individual professional goals. The program encourages individualized courses of study in which students and faculty work closely together. In recent years, the clinical program has graduated, on average, 6 students each year. On average, degree completion time for these graduates was 7 years. However, many students complete the program in 5 or 6 years, including their year long internship.
