DEPARTMENT POSTER SESSIONS

Each spring, the Miami University Department of Psychology is proud to host the Steve Hinkle Memorial Poster Session. Professor Stephen Hinkle joined the Department of Psychology at Miami University in 1975 as an Assistant Professor in Social Psychology and worked in the department until his sudden death in October of 2001. His death brought great sadness and profound loss to the department. In the mid 1990’s Steve proposed to the department that we have a yearly poster session celebrating the research and achievements of our psychology students. No one in the department took greater pride in the energy and excitement generated by this yearly event. Thus, it seems fitting that this annual celebration of the achievements of our students serves to honor the memory of Steve Hinkle.

Graduate and undergraduate students from all psychology programs have the opportunity to present their work at this annual event. To follow are some examples of recent posters presented by graduate students in the clinical program.
