Curriculum: Clinical Traineeship
Students in their third year and beyond have the opportunity to receive intense clinical training in a 20-hour/week externally paid traineeship. Students work in a wide range of settings (student counseling centers, community mental health, school-based mental health programs, and hospitals) where they receive on-site supervision. Students have the opportunity to provide a variety of clinical services in a "real world" professional setting, including individual and group therapy, assessment and report writing, and educational and prevention programming. Students often seek several traineeship sites to diversify their training. Below are listed just some of the traineeship opportunities available.
