Members of the student advisory board of the Miami University police department have been named for 2007-2008.

The purpose of the board is to advise university police about matters relating to community policing and other pertinent issues relating to police-student relations. "As police administrators we are always trying to find ways to make the Miami University police department the best. We believe getting direct feedback and ideas from students can only improve the day-to-day operations of the university police department," says Capt. Jason Willis, operations commander of the police department.

Students are encouraged to communicate with advisory board members about issues. This year's members are:
