Between October 25 and 28, University police and Oxford police received four (4) reports of burglaries from
students’ residences, as listed above. In two cases, portable electronic devices were stolen (iPod and laptop);
in the third case a lock box was stolen. There were no signs of forced entry in the on-campus burglaries. In the
off-campus house, nothing was missing, but a window screen was removed and the window opened to gain access.
There are no suspect descriptions available. Miami University police and Oxford police are investigating.

Students are reminded to keep their room doors and windows locked any time the room is empty or when they are sleeping.
