A male student reported to Oxford police that at about 4:20 a.m. on Sunday, September 9, 2007 he was walking north in the 5000 block of Brown Road
when he was approached by the suspect described above. The victim stated the suspect held a knife to his throat and demanded money; the victim
gave the suspect some money, at which time a scuffle ensued and the victim was cut in the stomach. The victim was pushed to the ground and
suffered scratches and abrasions, before being cut additional times on his back. The victim’s injuries were not serious. Oxford police are
investigating.
