DETAILS: At approximately 7:25 p.m. on Thursday, September 6, 2007, a male student reported to Miami police that he returned to his room on the second floor of Brandon Hall to find his door ajar and his laptop computer missing. The victim reported he and his roommate were out of their room from about 6 – 7 p.m., which is when the burglary is believed to have occurred. There were apparently no witnesses who could provide a description of the suspect(s) and there was no sign of forced entry. Miami University police are investigating.
