Blood Pressure:
High blood pressure usually has no symptoms. In fact, many people have high blood pressure for years without knowing it. The only way to find out if you have high blood pressure is to have your blood pressure checked. —American Heart Association

Employee Health & Well-Being, in cooperation with the Department of Nursing, offers blood pressure screenings for Miami University employees on the Oxford, Hamilton, and Middletown campuses. Oxford screenings are performed by students trained by Employee Health & Well-Being. Hamilton and Middletown screenings are performed by trained nursing students. This program is not designed to diagnose categories of blood pressure and does not replace visits to your primary care physician. Employees are advised to follow up with their physician if they have any questions.
