New Employee Introduction and Enrollment

All new employee Introduction and Enrollment sessions will be conducted by Benefit Services on the following days and times:

If you have not yet done so as a new Miami University employee, please contact Benefit Services at (513) 529-3926 or (513) 529-3120 to set up an appointment before your start date.

At this time, new employees will complete all necessary forms for identification, payroll and benefits (if eligible) and will be introduced to miscellaneous University policies and procedures.


What the new employee needs to bring to the Introduction & Enrollment session:

  1. Appropriate identification to complete the I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification form. Click here to view a list of applicable documents.

  2. Blank, voided check from checking account to set up direct deposit of paycheck

  3. License plate number so that you can register your vehicle for a parking pass. If you have more that one vehicle that you may drive to campus, please have both license plate numbers.

  4. For benefit-eligible employees only: Documentation verifying dependent eligibilty for insurance coverage. Click here to view a list of acceptable documents.
