Office

Visitors to
campus are encouraged to park in the Campus Avenue
Garage. No permit is needed. The campus parking map (use
the Maps link at left) may be used to locate the
garage.
Permit
Required
- A
permit is required to park in a University parking lot
at all times, except as noted in these regulations.
From 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, a permit
is required to park on Spring, Oak and Maple Streets.
A permit is not required to park
on Spring, Oak and Maple Streets at other
times.
- A
permit is not required to park on campus between noon
Friday and 10:00 p.m. Sunday on weekends of home
football games.
- A
permit is not required Thursday through Sunday for
Commencement weekend.
- A
permit is not required to park in the Campus Avenue
Garage at any time.
Permits and
Citations Issued to Visitors
- Visitors
must obtain a permit at the Parking Office during
business hours. Registration requires a valid driver's
license and license plate number of the vehicle to be
registered. This permit allows the visitor to park in
any University parking area.
- Visitors
who received a University parking citation may contact
the Parking Office for assistance.
Family Weekend
September 28 - 30, 2007:
- Parents
may ride the Metro buses this weekend.
- The
Campus Avenue Parking Garage offers parking at fifty
cents an hour. No permit is needed.
- Campus
parking meters require $.25/30 minutes between 7:00
a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
- Parents
may park in any campus lot without a permit this
weekend.
- Limited
RV parking with electrical hookup is available in the
West Millett lot. Advance reservations are needed. The
fee is $50 for a football weekend. Call (513) 529-1700
for information and reservations.
- Information

10 May 2008
- Visitors
and guests at the University Commencement ceremony at
Yager Stadium (2 p.m.) and the Arts & Sciences
ceremony at Millett Hall (7:30 p.m.) are strongly
encouraged to use the Miami Metro. (See information
below for route details).
- Visitors
and guests at the Interdisciplinary Studies ceremony
at Kumler Chapel (7 p.m.) should use the parking areas
on Western campus, including Western
Drive.

Additional
Information on Disability Access Parking for
Commencement:
Parking
for persons with disabilities is available in the
northwest parking area of Millett Hall. Ushers will
provide golf cart shuttles from the Millett lots to
Yager Stadium.
Sunday,
11 May 2008
- Visitors
and guests attending the Sunday, 11 May 2008
ceremonies at Millett Hall (Education and Allied
Professions at 9:30 a.m. and the School of Business
ceremony at 2 p.m.) are strongly encouraged to use the
Miami Metro. (See information below for route
details).
- Visitors
and guests attending the ceremonies at the Goggin Ice
Center (Fine Arts at 10:30 and Engineering and Applied
Sciences at 3 p.m.) are encouraged to park at the
Campus Avenue Parking Garage, free of charge. City of
Oxford parking meters on Campus Avenue must be
paid.
BUS
SERVICE:
Saturday,
10 May 2008
- Miami
Metro Red and Blue routes and a Yager shuttle route
will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, May
10, 2008.
- Stops
for the Blue route include Rowan Hall (across from
Shriver Center), the Recreational Sports Center (Oak
Street), and Millett Hall.
- Stops
for the Red route include Shriver Center and uptown
Oxford.
- Stops
for the Yager/Millett route include Ditmer parking
lot, Campus Avenue Parking Garage, Shriver Center,
Cook Field, Yager/Millett.
Sunday,
11 May 2008
- Shuttle
bus service from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from Ditmer
parking lot, Cook Field parking lots and Shriver
Center to Goggin Arena and Millett Hall, the sites of
Divisional Recognition Ceremonies.
- The
Access Miami van provides service to persons with
disabilities. Service is available from 8 a.m. to 9
p.m. on Saturday, 10 May, and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on
Sunday, 11 May 2008.
- RV
PARKING: Limited
unreserved parking for recreational vehicles is
available in the south end of the West Millett parking
lot, immediately off Weeb Ewbank Drive from Sycamore
Street. Parking and electrical service is on a
first-come basis.
